Tips on How to Win in the Weekly ELO Tournament

The ELO tournament in Urban Rivals is one of the only few ways a player might win those coveted Collector cards in the game. The other two being buying the cards themselves (which can be worth millions of in-game currency) or participate in official once-in-a-blue-moon games/events which are hosted by certain moderators.

Going back to ELO, there's an important thing to remember before joining in on the fun of this weekly event, and that is how to create a winning ELO Deck. There are many cards which are banned from ELO play. Add to that, every week, one clan is banned from the ELO tournament entirely. That is a pretty tough situation, especially for ELO newbies.

Stock up free Clintz and Credits by Joining the ELO Daily Tournaments

Urban Rivals is all about collecting all the cards needed to create better decks by purchasing character cards either by buying packs (using credits) or single cards (using clintz as currency). The fastest way to accumulate clintz (and credits as well) is by joining the daily tournament through the ELO format. Each tournament is played every other hour and every match win or lose will accumulate points to the within that hourly tournament play.

Just playing in the ELO tournament will get you 50 Clintz if you were not able to reach the top 20 percent of the total participants. If you manage to reach the top 20 percent but not the top rank, you will get the free 50 Clintz and 1 Credit. If you manage to reach the top spot, you'll get yourself a lot of clintz and possible a rare card.

By the end of the week if you have an ELO rank around 1200 and up, you will get additional clintz with a minimum of 1000 clintz depending on your ELO ranking.
